I am a Certified Clinical Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist Dip.CBH, BSC (Psychology) and I specialise in providing clients with the tools and techniques to cope with the challenges they are facing . I work with clients to help manage stress, anxiety, phobias, Insomnia, surgery/treatment anxiety, pain management, relaxation, stop smoking, weight loss, burnout, improve confidence and self esteem, work stress, assertiveness training, trauma, intimacy issues, relationship problems and more. I am based on Harley Street, Mayfair, and work with clients online.
As a clinical hypnotherapist I take an evidence-based approach to treatment providing personalised hypnotherapy sessions designed to help you lead a balanced, harmonious life. Before my hypnotherapy career, I was a Head of Client Management and I worked with clients including, royal family members, financiers, high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs. Therefore I understand the importance of privacy and handling sensitive topics.
Hypnotherapy is a means of experiencing certain helpful ideas at a level profound enough to directly influence our emotions and behaviour. Hypnotherapy aims to work on any issues while in a relaxed and calm state which allows us to work at a deeper layer and access our subconscious. While attention is so focused in this state, anything going on around you is temporarily blocked or ignored. Therefore, in this naturally occurring state, you may focus your attention on specific thoughts or tasks.
It is thought that the subconscious accounts for approximately 90% of the brain’s capacity and it is here we store our emotions. It is responsible for our reactions, interpretations and general behaviour. The most important role that the subconscious plays is an automatic function that controls our breathing, the circulation of blood around our bodies and the repair of damaged tissue i.e. the healing process.
I teach clients self-hypnosis, which is an empowering tool that can be used away from the therapy sessions, but also allows the individual to feel in control and relaxed during the therapy sessions. My approach is tailored to each client and is solution focussed, guiding the client gently guiding Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, regression therapy in order to help them address and move forward from their issues. I have worked with clients on a variety of issues and developed personalised plans to see them move on from the past, truly enjoy the present and look forward to the future.
