She talks about using humor in her comics to cope with the real life situations Muslims experience on a daily basis. She also discusses her journey to finding her voice in art and writing. She describes the terror of learning a new skill, and the joy of growing more confident in her voice and expression. She also talks about how religion is often used to divide us, when we should be using it to highlight just how similar we actually are.
