Ifenla Oligbinde is a young female lawyer, writer, inclusion advocate and politician with over 10 years experience in project management and community development. She is passionate about advancing democratic values through Advocacy, Good Governance, Gender Equality and Education.
She is the Principal Partner of Ark and Rainbow Movement, a non-profit organization that provides project management support for leadership development, capacity building, and good governance, and Mind and Ink Consult, a writing and ideation consultancy firm. She is presently the National Director of Communications and Programs for the African Democratic Congress, one of the youngest National Working Committee members of a political party in Nigeria.
Her works in the civic engagement and public management sectors have resulted in her selection/recognition for the following: Best Female Outstanding Model of the year (Leadership Mind Ambassador Awards), 2018; World Justice Challenge and SDG 16 Innovation Challenge in 2019; the Global Peace Chain (Malaysia); the African Youth Commission Conference (Kenya - 2020); Young African Leaders Initiative, Regional Leadership Center, West Africa (2020); "Young Female Politician of the Year Award", ADC Diaspora Network, 2021; African Civic Engagement Academy, University of Georgia in 2022; "Young African Women Leads Award" for building a leading Africa under Politics by Africa Youth Leads Initiative, 2023, to list a few.
She was recently selected alongside over 600 African Leaders for the 2023 Mandela Washington Fellowship, to study Leadership in Public Management track at the Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She is a 2023 McCain Global Leader, the only Nigerian to be selected and will be joining Leaders from other countries in United States, South Africa and Vietnam this year for leadership engagements.
