I’m a bit over thirty years old (born 16.10.1983), I live in Sofia – Bulgaria, happily married tо my beautiful wife and I make my living as a community class coach!
I don’t believe in certificates, degrees and fancy diplomas, because people teach you what they want you to know, not what you need to be taught! We live in a world were information is valid for 24 hours or less and even with the best intentions of your tutors, by the time you finish your education, what you know is already old news! I believe in curiosity and I strongly prefer to walk after my nose, because I find it takes me to places that are far more interesting and fun!
I am not the Men’s Health magazine cover and my goal is not to become one! I’m not the type of guy you’re gonna catch spending time biting nails on the thought that his abs are looking too puffy today for a selfie! Being strong, mobile, and looking good in your swimsuit are great functions of health but they don’t wrap it up all! I get really frustrated when I see how people get obsessed by the perfect body composition or athletic skill-set, assuming this is the magic peace of the puzzle that’s going to bring them the prize (what ever it might be…)! To me vanity is the false answer, although to be fair – it’s a good kick-start motivator!
I am also not a doctor, professor, scientist or any other specialist, nevertheless I deeply respect all the above! Early in life I chose another path – the one of a generalist, because looking too narrow, sometimes means you are loosing the big picture! And to be honest – being healthy and strong shouldn’t be that hard!
Our bodies and mind already crave to be thriving, all we need to do is just stop standing in the way!
The only thing you might find interesting about me is that for the last 15 years I have developed and upgraded the skill of building communities around the idea of health! I was not schooled how to do it and it came to me naturally, as consequence of my affection with health and the urge to infect everyone around me with it! Unexpectedly this gave me the answer to the hardest two questions I have ever faced – how to be happy and how to help other people be happy too!
