Strategic Storytelling for Business

When incorporating storytelling into the world of business, it is important to
keep in mind that storytelling is a tool to meet goals and get results, not an end in itself. Using theater techniques and strategies (the actor’s toolbox), explore different strategic storytelling techniques to construct and leverage different narratives and patterns to achieve specific business objectives.

The Emotionally Intelligent Leader

Great leading actors and great leaders share the same real estate. They both must be emotionally invested and must be authentically connected to their goals and their people. Emotionally intelligent leaders skillfully navigate the dynamics of their teams, fostering collaboration by leading and serving simultaneously. Every successful theatre production similarly requires the artistic team to work together creatively. In The Emotionally Intelligent Leader, you will adapt this collaborative process to manage group dynamics, develop group communication strategies, and foster cooperation and respect to move your group forward. Learn how to use the actor’s toolbox to be better able to project self-confidence, display control in difficult/unpredictable situations and hold your own with other members of the executive team.

From Mindlessness to Mindfulness: An actor’s guide to being present

Great leading actors and great leaders share the same real estate. They both
must be emotionally invested and must be authentically connected to their goals and their people. They are disciplined but not rigid and allow new information and ideas to change the path set before them to achieve better outcomes. Learn how to apply an actor’s ability to remain present and mindful on stage to contribute to personal success.
