Recently, I had the opportunity to speak at Weatherford ISD’s Professional Development Day and share my Win the Day Leadership Curriculum with an incredible group of educators. During the session, I walked teachers through practical strategies to lead not only in their classrooms, but also in their careers, their personal lives, and in pursuit of their biggest dreams. My goal was to inspire and equip them to lead with purpose, stay motivated, and take intentional steps every day to win the day. It was an honor to pour into a group of people who are shaping the future—one student at a time.

With over 23,000 members, speaking to coaches at the THSCA convention was extremely exciting. I was able to speak to coaches who specifically run powerlifting programs and encourage them on the importance of their sport as well as how to use the tool of social media as a promotional tool to promote their programs.

I was honored to speak at THSCA about THSWPA and all that it is doing for the female athletes in Texas. As the social media director, I spoke about the importance of coaches and athletes promoting their sport as well as their high school programs. We want to see what coaches and athletes are accomplishing as we continue our legacy of being the strongest female association in Texas!
