For over 30 years, Jeffrey Weiss has been an active broadcast engineer, serial entrepreneur, speaker, trainer-coach, and volunteer. He has served as a board member, and volunteer leader with many organizations such as the American Red Cross, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), Habitat for Humanity, Jewish Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Los Angeles, the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, local city government, several community food banks, along with many other non-profit organizations.
Currently, Jeffrey is a graduate of Pepperdine University in the areas of business leadership, healthcare management, and corporate social responsibility. He is also a John Maxwell Certified Coach and Speaker and oversees several companies, such as Advantage Video Systems, a large systems integration business where he has built over 250 TV stations and hundreds of production and post facilities worldwide; AVS is also a STEAM-certified organization that builds video and gaming arenas for colleges and corporations around the United States. In addition, he has created and runs the Preparedness Network, which is dedicated to training people in disaster preparedness, situational awareness, and other training for schools, organizations, and businesses. Jeffrey also specializes in coaching people and companies in creating a volunteer and corporate social responsibility culture. Jeffrey also is a lead distributor with SleepM (a renowned bedding company of high-end holistic mattresses and aligned products).
An accomplished speaker, Jeffrey is invited to speak at over a dozen events per year. He is also a seasoned coach-trainer working with people on Video Production and Post-Production, Digital Asset Management, Cloud and On-Premise Infrastructure, Disaster Preparedness, and Sales Strategies.
