Bio

Jessica Rubinsky founded I Believe You, LLC in May 2019 and has since provided education, resources, and advice to individuals, communities, and companies across the United States. Jessica has worked in the field of sexual and relationship violence prevention for the past six years. They use a margins of center, intersectional, and client centered approaches in all the work they do, believing that all oppression is connected and fighting to end sexual violence must include ending all types of violence. Jessica also currently serves as the Assistant Director of Sexual Violence Prevention and Education at the University of Houston. In their free time they enjoy playing board games, hiking, and playing with their cat, Lilith.

Founder of I Believe You, LLC

I Believe You, LLC was founded by Jessica Rubinsky in May 2019 to provide violence prevention consulting to individuals, communities, and companies. I Believe You, LLC focuses on sexual violence prevention and LGBTQ+ inclusion as a way to end violence in our communities.

Leadership Sexuality and Gender Alliance

The Sexuality and Gender Aliance group is focused on issues of sexuality and gender. Its mission is to foster a sense of community through social and educational programming, while applying a critical and intersectional lens to issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ community.

Tulane Jewish Leader

The Tulane Jewish Leaders (TJL) program by Tulane Hillel provides students, both Jewish and non-Jewish, the opportunity to create their own impactful community programming and events reflecting diverse interests while building connections and leadership skills.

Hunting Ground Panelist at Tulane University

The Hunting Ground is a 2015 documentary film about the incidence of sexual assault on college campuses in the United States and the reported failure of college administrations to deal with it adequately.
