The Difference between GED and Diploma
A diploma is awarded to students who successfully complete a standard high school curriculum, which typically involves four years of formal education. It signifies that the individual has met all the graduation requirements set by their school or educational institution. On the other hand, a GED (General Educational Development) is an alternative certification for individuals who did not complete traditional high school but want to demonstrate their academic skills and knowledge. GED tests assess proficiency in subjects like math, science, social studies, and language arts. Once a person passes the GED exams, they receive a certificate equivalent to a high school diploma.
