On his 29th he is asked to join the Management Team of Pepsi Cola Benelux and is responsible for the sale of all PepsiCo beverages in that region. As his first son is born, Joost decides to quit his job and in 2002 he starts his own Management Consulting firm. Soon he works together with clients such as KPN, Unilever, Campina, Heineken, LG.Philips, Nestlé, Sara Lee, P&G and Vodafone, and for the various projects he travels through Europe, and to South Africa, Russia, Suriname and the United States. After four years Joost and his wife decide to sell their home in The Netherlands and leave with their two children to the USA, where they travel around for a year in a motor home and realize a long-held dream. Upon their return, they buy a one-way ticket to Spain and build a house with training location on the beach of the Mediterranean Sea. Here Joost regularly invites Leadership Teams, which he helps with realizing their strategic plans and building vital and dynamic teams.
