Josiah Jackson

My educational career began 35 years ago in the classroom as a teacher. After five years of teaching, I stepped back to become a caregiver for my parents before they passed. During this time, I worked for Minneapolis Parent Information Centers, Inc. as a family advocate in collaboration with Minneapolis and St. Paul Public School Districts to help parents navigate the school system. Today, I am proud to be recognized as an educational speaker and writer, combining my years in the classroom and as a family advocate. My passion is encouraging and empowering school districts, educators in school and faith based communities to rebuild and remain resilient during frustrating times to show up with excellence and lead with purpose. I aim to build stronger connections, healthier learning environments, and better futures for educational leaders and families.
