“Where you place your attention is where you place your energy.” This is the quote from Joe Dispenza that changed the life of Justin “Goliath” Johnson. Before this, Goliath had a life perspective that didn’t allow him to understand or reach his potential. Growing up in the high desert of Palmdale, CA, 60 miles north of Los Angeles, having people realize their purpose and becoming the best version of themselves wasn’t the norm for Goliath. Everyone was trying to survive, and survival mode became the consistent crutch for him and so many others in his community.
After having his first son, he made a difficult decision and moved his family to Atlanta, Georgia in search of better opportunities. After years of desiring to be an entrepreneur, but the fear of failure keeping him from taking a chance on himself, he picked up the book, Becoming Supernatural by Joe Dispenza. Goliath was already coaching clients outside of his day job, but he began to do a deep dive on who he was and trying to learn and understand his purpose. Through krump dancing, Goliath was always able to connect and mentor the youth by being a support system and a “big brother” while connecting through krump dance. At this stage of his life, mentoring through the dance was no longer enough. He achieved certification in Life Coaching and made the decision to leave his day job to coach full time. Now, having full custody of his oldest son, being engaged, and having a toddler, there was no room for failure. “Failure is not a real thing” he would say, “the only way I fail is if I quit, and I’m not quitting”.
The desire to show his sons that he could be successful by helping people become the best version of themselves became Goliath’s purpose. He has helped his clients create businesses and he created the first all-black Atlanta based social media, Collab Crib. He has supported his clients to make endless decisions and help them to grow and obtain the goals and the desires they have always dreamed.
Along with coaching individual clients, Goliath has been a part of motivational seminars (Entrepreneurs Wealth and Asset Management Seminar), taught a class (Purposeful You in 22), and is currently a monthly written contributor to Polo Lifestyles Magazine as the wellness contributor. He has written the articles, The Human Battery: Energy in Motion January issue pages 186-188, A Guide to the New Alpha Male February issue pages 185-186, Booty Dysmorphia March issue pages 166-167 and The Anger Cry April issue.
Goliath has been busy trying to give what he has learned through various mediums. He has one goal; change the world through coaching, writing and building his social media following (160k tik tok). So, who do you want to be? Let’s create the plan and execute!
