Over the past 10 years of trading and speaking at various trading events, I have seen retail traders making the same mistakes again and again. As a trader with a finance background myself, I have networked with bank traders, hedge fund managers and prop traders and studied how they trade. I want to impart the analysis strategies and tools in a simple manner to retail traders. Overall, I will cover how retail traders can apply fundamental analysis, sentiment analysis and intermarket analysis to their trading. They will learn the markets to focus on in a recession as well as during an economic boom when inflation is rising. Too many retail traders focus merely on technical analysis and that is why they lose money. The retail trading education industry is also flooded with too much content about technical analysis. This gives the impression to new retail traders that strategies and indicators are the most important component for success in trading.
