Kathryn Lemerich is a leader in the NJ education sector. She has achieved much success throughout her career. One of her most noteworthy accomplishments was the introduction of a new elementary mathematics program in a district she served. The adoption and implementation under her leadership was featured in ASCD SmartBrief. Kathryn Lemerich is proud to champion best practices in mathematics instruction and support all students in their understanding and knowledge of mathematics. Kathryn Lemerich is committed to the field of education and to professional growth. She has presented at countless local and state conferences and has led and participated in Japanese Lesson Study since becoming a teacher. In 2015 she served on the New Jersey Department of Education's Standards Review Committee. She serves on the New Jersey ASCD Executive Board and was selected to attend a Core Advocate Convening for Student Achievement Partners. Most notably, in 2017, she was one of 46 professionals in the world to be named an ASCD Emerging Leader.
