Kathryn Starke

Kathryn Starke is an urban literacy consultant, author, keynote speaker, adjunct professor, and the founder of Creative Minds Publications and The Starke School. She is the author of Amy's Travels, the first children's picture book to teach all seven continents. She is the creator of Tackle Reading, an annual educational initiative supported by the NFL. Her book A Touchdown in Reading: An Educator's Guide to Literacy Instruction is used in schools and universities across the country.
