Worked with law enforcement agencies in community development in Tennessee and California. As a result, she volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Children to be the voice to three children in the Child Services system. Notary Public in New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee and now California. Volunteer four hours a week of training as a Crisis Line Counselor at the Suicide Prevention Center. While living in California for the past three years, she became a Certified Life Coach and used her Suicide Prevention Trainer skills to create a nonprofit organization, California Suicide Prevention Network (https://www.calispn.org) to promote awareness and education. She is a member of Veterans Media and Entertainment, American Legion Post, and the FBI of Los Angeles Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBILACAA). Her contributions and quality of life has allowed her to sit on the Faith Based African American Leadership Roundtable that addresses Gangs, Crimes, Civil Rights, Human Trafficking in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas. FBILACAA has elected her as Vice President of Memberships and Information Technology.
She has an Associate’s Degree in Business Technology from Central Texas College and was studying Bachelors in Criminal Justice Administration and Psychology in Media and Entertainment at University of Phoenix. Katisha was awarded Honorary Doctorate Degree of Theology for outstanding leadership, dedication and successful career.
