Kelly Navickas is the founder and CEO of Carnation Capital, providing small businesses services in fundraising preparation, process development, and marketing. With over a decade of experience in financial services, technology, and social sciences research, Kelly is a thought leader in innovation. Prior to Carnation Capital, Kelly served as the Investment Officer of Netcapital and was responsible for growing Netcapital’s community of investors. Her first experience in the Boston startup world was a result of her research experience at MIT, where she studied the effect of stakeholder relationships on startups in regional accelerators.
Kelly was valedictorian of her high school graduating class and is a first-generation graduate from Wellesley College, holding a B.A. in Anthropology with honors. She often coaches and mentors first-generation students with non-traditional backgrounds entering the finance or startup world.
