Kelsey has worked in the Hospitality Industry for 8+ years. In that time, he has opened one hotel, designed and opened two night clubs, managed 3 restaurants, and was appointed to operations manager for a company that, at the time, owned six venues. Kelsey has played a role in many redevelopments in the Atlanta area, particularly in the hospitality industry. He has collaborated with companies like Ford, Lincoln, Upscale Magazine, Creative Loafing, and even the 100 Black Men to develop and curate events geared towards marketing Atlanta's uniqueness. He is currently a partner in The Good Food & Co. restaurant group where they have one restaurant under their belt, the Atlanta Breakfast Club. Kelsey accomplished all of this before the age of 30.
Kelsey is now a public speaker and Hospitality Influencer, who travels the Nation speaking to people, corporate, collegiate, and small business sharing the success principles he learned through his professional career. Experience has been his best teacher. He shares his story to foster inspiration, education, and action showing the ordinary man is capable of extraordinary things.
Kelsey Maynor received his B.A. in Sociology and African American Studies from Georgia State University, and began laying the groundwork for his commission to be a change agent. He is currently completing his MBA at Mercer University, in a program geared towards Small Business Development and Business Innovation. He says his story is simple, Speak it, Own it, Live it.
His action-oriented delivery ignites the minds of children and the hearts of CEOs to move. Many influencers have adopted this ethereal notion of simply promoting positivity. His hope is that by being the change they want to see in the community, we will eventually change our communities.
