Kenesha Collins is an author, freelance journalist, and blogger with over 20 years of experience. Her primary areas of interest are social injustice, empowerment amongst minority communities and police brutality, and the Black experience.
She has written and edited for nonprofits, small businesses, newspapers, and magazines. In 2020, Kenesha wrote an opinion blog post about the series of social injustice events that were plastered all over the media during May of that year. She wrote the article with tear-stained eyes and the following morning; it had caught the attention of a fellow freelance journalist based in the U.K.
He helped her get the article featured in The Voice, Britain's only Black national newspaper. The article was well-received, so it gave Kenesha the confidence to fulfill her lifelong dream of writing a book.
Kenesha's debut novel, I Forgot to Love Her, was released in November of 2020. It was adapted into a feature-length screenplay and has garnered the attention of some of the prominent professionals in film.
Kenesha has been sharing her knowledge to her peers in the writing community for the past two and a half years. After much thought and prayer, she has decided to share her message with the world!
Kenesha looks forward to speaking with you soon!
