My story isn’t just about surviving a tragic accident — it’s about what it takes to rebuild your life when everything changes in an instant. At 16 years old, I survived a catastrophic car accident that left me hanging from a power line for nearly an hour before rescue. I suffered severe injuries, including extensive damage to my arm, endured 21 surgeries, and ultimately lost my leg. The recovery that followed challenged me physically, mentally, and emotionally in ways I never could have imagined. I had to relearn how to navigate daily life while facing a completely new reality. What makes my message powerful is that it’s real. I don’t just talk about resilience — I’ve lived it. Through honest storytelling, vulnerability, and moments of humor, I connect with audiences in a way that helps them see their own challenges differently. Whether speaking to students, organizations, or communities, my goal is to leave audiences with a renewed perspective on resilience, a deeper appreciation for life, and a stronger awareness of the choices we make behind the wheel.
