Inspirational / Motivational
In 2010, Kionte suffered an injury overseas in Afghanistan while on a foot mobile patrol, where an Improvised Explosive Device (I.E.D) was triggered, resulting in the amputation of his right leg below the knee, along with other sustained injuries. After recovering and acquiring his prosthetic, he found solace and healing through various outlets, primarily by engaging in physical activities and challenging himself mentally. Kionte's recovery journey was marked by active participation in sports, becoming a successful Paralympic Athlete, and achieving remarkable feats, including summiting two of the seven tallest mountains in the world, Mt. Vinson and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Additionally, he completed two marathons. However, his most fulfilling pursuit has been positively impacting others' lives through his actions and by sharing his inspiring story. Kionte strives to motivate and inspire others while continually working on becoming his best version.
