Kristin is a speaker, educator, yoga teacher, and children’s non-profit founder. She is passionate about empowering people to take purposeful action and manifest change. As an experienced yoga teacher of over 10 years, Kristin speaks about the importance of social impact through ‘seva’ - the act of selfless service. Putting this into practice, Kristin founded the Devoted to Children Foundation (D2C) in 2012 aimed at supporting vulnerable children through educational projects infused with yoga and mindfulness practice. D2C operates a small childrens’ home in Haiti which creates a ‘forever-family’ for orphaned, abandoned, and enslaved children, investing in their well-being and potential as future agents of change.
Supporting contribution both individually and collectively, Kristin leads Seva Volunteer Trips to Haiti, offering a fresh perspective on volunteerism through integrating yoga, service, cultural immersion and adventure travel into a transformative journey. She also offers Surf.Yoga.Fun Retreats annually in Costa Rica as a way to reconnect and recharge with nature while experiencing ‘pura vida’ - pure life.
Mother of two inspiring teenage daughters, Kristin shares her time between Lake Tahoe, Costa Rica, and Cape Cod. When not teaching yoga or leading retreats, she is most likely surfing or riding her horse with her dogs in tow.
