Lena’s expertise includes both personal and interpersonal skills development, which she believes are the foundations of success. Inspired by more than 20 years in hospitality and leadership, she went on to spend over a decade in corporate training where she designed and delivered custom training and facilitated programs from FranklinCovey, The Pacific Institute, Achieve Forum, and DiSC. In addition to several facilitation certifications, Lena holds degrees in Theater and English Literature. She is also an experienced emcee and event production consultant. As a keynote speaker, Lena has provided services for a wide variety of clients, including those who work in Hospitality, Gaming, Healthcare, Customer Service, Education, Administrative Professionals, Retail, Sales, and those who serve in Leadership roles across all industries.
Lena grew up in rural Minnesota, surrounded by a supportive family, despite her crazy dreams and pursuits. At the age of 8, Lena was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes, which taught her about mental strength and resilience, despite uncertainty and many other life lessons, which drive the message she shares with her audiences. In her free time, she is a youth program director for her church and often leads worship service. Among her list of proud accomplishments, she is a winner of two karaoke contests, a small-town talent show, and several local bar poker tournaments. She remains active in Community Theater, moonlights as a DJ, and loves adventure and new experiences. She lives in Minnesota with her husband and spunky dog, Moxie.
