Bio

Hello, I am Lisa Cybaniak, Certified NLP Practitioner, Motivational Speaker & Author. I specialise in empowering people to overcome their limitations to build the life they deserve.

After surviving 10-years of child abuse, I know a thing or two about self-imposed limitations and how they manifest in every day life, from repeating negative patterns and self-sabotaging chances for success, to ineffective communication and a lack of confidence.

Through my life's experiences, as well as my training, I also know it is completely possible to overcome any limitation.

I now travel around the world, speaking and training others on how to shift the way they are experiencing and reacting to the world around them, using NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). This empowers them to make critical changes that drastically improve both their personal and professional lives.

Whether suffering from impostor syndrome, low confidence, anxiety, inefficient communication, struggling relationships, negative beliefs, or simply having difficulty getting motivated, change is possible. All it takes is the appropriate tools and the guidance and support to use them effectively.

For example, corporations struggling with issues with retention and productivity notice a vast improvement in both areas once their employees learn effective communication strategies, gain confidence, learn what motivates them, and change their limiting beliefs that once were holding them back.

Someone struggling with impostor syndrome is more likely to mistake their anxiety and lack of confidence as being caused by their employment situation. In truth, their lack of confidence in themselves because of their limiting beliefs is actually triggering their anxiety and other symptoms.

Without understanding this, they are more likely to choose to leave their position in order to decrease their anxiety, increasing the company's staff retention issue and costing them up to 6 months wages to replace them.

If they choose to remain in their role, they will do just that - remain stagnant, unwilling to apply for promotions regardless of their ability to excel in a new role, all while complaining about their dissatisfaction. This decreases their productivity.

After listening to me speak, or working with me directly, those employees begin to shift their view of the world, gain enough confidence to apply for promotions within the company, and believe in their ability to succeed.

Overcoming Limitations in the Workforce

Every organisation is plagued with the same issue - they are only as good as their weakest link.

How we feel about ourselves determines our behaviour in all situations, including in the workforce.

Our mindset can be the difference between having the confidence necessary to recognise and grab hold of new opportunities, and daily self-sabotage. We have the power to choose and cultivate our mindset!

By determining how and why we are holding ourselves back, we can make the crucial changes necessary for both personal and professional growth and development.

The impact on organisations is palpable, with employees who are no longer hindered by their fear of failure (or success), but rejoicing in their strength and determination to succeed.

Are You Creating Your Reality?

Our view of the world and our place in it is largely formed by the age of seven.

From that point we are collecting evidence to support our world view.

If we believe that we will fail, for example, then we will search for evidence to support this in all our interactions. This means that even when we are experiencing success, we will not fully accept or celebrate it.

By expecting failure, we will generate failure by being so focused on the smallest negative piece of the puzzle.

But what if we could learn to expect success? Could we shift our mindsets, creating a different view of our world?

Change your thoughts, change your life!

When things go wrong in your day, what is your first response? Is it to tell yourself you knew you couldn't do it anyway, to ask 'why me?', and feel like despite your best efforts, nothing ever turns out the way you planned?

Or worse yet, maybe you sabotage yourself in little ways without even realising it - not completing a task, not putting in full effort, or simply not showing up.

Why are you doing these things?  You are meeting your needs, something we have learned since birth. You are focusing on immediate gratification and you are expecting failure. By not putting in full effort, you are sparing yourself the disappointment of that expected failure.

What if you could break down your 'gets', revise the script, and start focusing on meeting the needs that serve your highest good? I know exactly what would happen - you would start expecting success because you would know you deserve it.

In short, you would allow yourself to have the life you deserve.
