Mishaps and Mayhem - Mission Mojo
45-Minute Keynote: At the age of 54 Lois left Cape Town to work in Oman in the Middle East and discovered travel and adventure. No organised tours or even pre-planned trips for this intrepid solo traveller as she explored countries such as Iran, Iraq, Haiti, and Pakistan, among others. Her story is one of mayhem and mishaps, from surviving rape in the Cape to falling off dog sleds in Sweden. Join Lois on her amusing journey as she does a "Shirley Valentine" and talks to the wall. Not quite Shirley Valentine, Lois agrees with this quote from the movie "Why do we get all this life if we don't ever use it? Why do we get all these feelings and dreams and hopes if we don't ever use them?"
