Bio

Associate professor of practice at the Center for Learning and Teaching at the American University in Cairo, Egypt. I hold a PhD in Education from the University of Sheffield in the UK. I am the co-founder of VirtuallyConnecting.org and the co-facilitator of Equity Unbound. I am on the editorial board of 6 higher ed/edtech journals. I have been interviewed on the Leaders & Legends of Online Learning podcast, and I have been featured in the second edition of the Uncommon Women Coloring book for my work in open education.
