We expect that participants will accomplish the following learning objectives as a result of the presentation: - Understand the basics of managing money, which encompasses critical themes such as net worth and cash flows, knowing your credit scores, and how to analyze and prioritize financial goals. - Develop an understanding of the approach to the holistic financial planning process and a road map to the key financial considerations anticipated at different stages of life. - Learn about student loans; the impact they can have on career choice and subsequent income potential; and how to navigate loan terms, repayment options, and reducing overall debt burden. - Gain actionable strategies on how to create and adhere to a budget, negotiating a first job offer, and how different retirement vehicles can affect careers all the way through retirement.
