Marilyn has always charted her own course. After finishing high school in three years, she put herself through college the first in her family to do so. From there she landed a job at Intel and spent 21 years climbing her way up the corporate ladder and breaking the trail for other women to follow. Checking 'successful career' off her list, Marilyn took a leap, retired early, and accepted one of the most challenging roles of her life: a teacher to her three kids. For three years, she taught them through travel and hands-on experience. When they went back to school, she launched the next phase of her adventure and started coaching.
Marilyn learned through her unconventional path that there's no right or wrong way to live your life. But too many people are trying to live theirs according to someone else's plan. That's her biggest joy in coaching: helping people to chart their own course, map out their own journey, and have fun in the process.
She met her husband Kurt at work, in many ways her opposite. When they got married, their astonished coworkers counted down the days, thinking it would never work and even placing bets on their divorce date. Thirty-three years and three kids later, Marilyn and Kurt are still going strong, through all the ups and downs.
As a life coach, Marilyn lifts people out of life’s ruts and helps them map out their journey. She helps people find creative solutions, develop action plans, and establish systems to design the life they deserve. Marilyn partners with people as they plan their adventure, set off on their journey and reach new heights.
Helping people Enjoy Life's Journey is her mission. Marilyn’s unique coaching helps people with all aspects of their life – career, business ownership, marriage, parenting and most important enjoying life.
