Marton Hajdu is communications officer at the European Commission. Previously he was a diplomat and spokesperson at Hungary's representation to the EU, and, before that, he worked in the Financial Crisis Task Force and in DG INFSO.
Marton is able to bring to life the sometimes bizarre world of the EU through personal stories covering all levels and aspects of EU decision making, from "fonctionnaires" in office cubicles through euro-deputies and Commissioners in the EU corridors of power to Heads of State and Government on the top of the pyramid in the European Council.
Marton's academic background in business, economics and government affairs helps him to better understand the needs of people and organisations from outside the "EU-bubble" when it comes to the impact of the EU on their lives.
