Bio

As a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher and Speaker, I inspire, empower and equip people to practice purposeful leadership of self and of others while helping them to discover their strengths and maximize effectiveness to achieve desired results.

I offer a combination of services that includes workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and professional and executive coaching aiding personal and professional growth through study and practical application of proven leadership methods. Working together, I will move you, your team, or organization in the desired direction to reach your goals.

My journey of personal and professional growth began in my teenage years. I started collecting thoughts on leadership, living with intent, and communication while living them out to stretch and grow as an individual. I began my professional career at JP Morgan Chase as part of a management consulting and leadership development program - one of 40 young professionals selected from among 1,300 applicants. Through mentorship and a continuous focus on growth, I found my niche in leadership, organizational effectiveness as well as business process design and development. Through diverse management consulting opportunities, I learned that leadership is influence – not hierarchical position, title or formal authority.

A mentor introduced Michael to John C. Maxwell in early 2002 by recommending the book and learning program titled “Today Matters” – a book that has tremendously impacted my life. As a Founding Partner and John Maxwell Certified Leadership Coach, Trainer, and Speaker I have had the opportunity to train thousands of leaders and executives internationally.

I am a contributing author to the handbook of “Business Strategy Series” published by Emerald Insights. I'm also the Founder and President of Light the World Foundation – an organization dedicated to educating children in Haiti and providing mentorship and coaching to young adults in communities of New York City and Long Island.

Leveraging my experience in Corporate America, my entrepreneurial endeavors combined with the proven leadership principles and practices taught by John Maxwell, I possess a unique combination of skills, tools, and insights to draw upon to help you develop a comprehensive growth plan for you, your team, and your organization. I can help motivate and empower your staff to be more productive, create/enhance a culture of leadership leading to a positive transformation in your organization.

This workshop comprises of two stand-alone but sequential sessions: (1) Making Sense of your People Puzzle and (2) DISC Advantage: Creating Effective Workplace Partnerships.
