Michelle Gyimah is a speaker, pay gaps expert and negotiation coach. She is the Director of Equality Pays, a gender and ethnicity pay gaps consultancy. Michelle is a passionate advocate for enabling employers to create inclusive workplaces that encourage innovation, creativity, fairness and equity within workplace cultures. She does this by empowering workplaces to radically rethink how they can support their employees to thrive at work.
Michelle has over 10 years’ experience of working at the Equality and Human Rights Commission on gender and ethnicity equity issues around pay gaps, equal pay and workplace discrimination. She also holds a Masters in Human Rights from The University of Manchester. Michelle is a regular contributor to numerous national business magazines and is a regular speaker at international conferences, webinars and podcasts.
In June 2020, she co-created the UK's first nationwide anti-racism and allyship project for White women who want to be allies in their workplaces. The mission is to empower as many white women as possible to become anti-racist changemakers and allies in their personal and professional capacities.
