Michelle is a Senior Director of Brand Marketing at PepsiCo, with over a decade of extensive experience in brand management, innovation, and marketing strategy on some of the world’s most loved brands, including Pop Tarts, Rice Krispies Treats, Lipton Tea, Cheetos, and Walgreens brands.
Michelle describes her job as “truly committing to understanding consumers, innovating and designing solutions for their lives, and reaching them in a way where they see themselves as the main character in the stories she tells through marketing”.
Michelle challenges norms and proactively advocates and builds for marketing inclusion and a consumer-first obsession in the organizations of which she is a part. Being committed to the consumer experience and culture is what has set her apart in her field - and being committed to being herself is what enables her to push forward in industries where she's often blazing new trails as a leader.
She earned a BA in Marketing from Howard University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Michelle lives in Chicago, IL, serves on the Girls on the Run Chicago, Governing Board and is a lover of bold lipstick, running shoes, and prime numbers.
