Mike Bruni possesses over 25 years of experience in talent acquisition and human resources across the
national security sector. Mike has built and led staffing programs with much success over the course of
his career. In 2012, he led the staffing effort for a major program in excess of $1 billion. The effort
resulted in the award of the program as well as the successful transition and staffing of the program.
Mike is heavily experienced in developing talent acquisition strategies tailored for each customer he
supports.
As a sourcing manager, Mike designs and builds talent pipeline programs supporting diverse initiatives
throughout the community. He has lead and designed candidate outreach efforts to include
organizational and personal branding for Fortune 500 firms as well as private equity.
Mike has been quoted in HR Magazine, The Military Times, and USA Today. He’s been a guest on
Federal News Radio’s “Fed Access” Show. He’s been featured on the Pentagon Channel’s “Hiring
America” television show. Mike currently sites on the Board of Directors for RecruitDC, a non-profit that
supports the advancement of recruiting education and innovation. He also is the facilitator and leader
for Project S.A.V.E. (Staffing Alliance of Virginia Employers) which is a networking organization for HR
and recruiting professionals.
Mike is currently the President of Talent Acquisition Strategies, LLC where he provides talent acquisition
strategy and innovation consulting.
