Mike Saxton is a cybersecurity executive and prior Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) where he has established and rebuilt multiple Security programs vision and strategy meets business objectives.
With experience based in Higher Education and the Department of Defense through multiple senior leadership positions assisting clients secure their large, global networks, Mike has worked with teams to develop first of kind, innovative approaches to rapid detection and response of Cyber threats.
Additionally, Mike serves as a Regional Director for the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC), a non-profit organization that re-establishes IT communications after natural disasters. Deployments with ITDRC include the California Wildfires and Puerto Rico, where his teams reestablished emergency communications in the wake of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
Mike holds a Masters of Science Degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Dallas and holds Certified Information Security Manager and Certified Ethical Hacker certifications.
