There are two primary areas that I focus on: small business owners and older adult technology learners.
I've worked with small businesses for over 12 years to help them find, purchase, implement, and use the right technology for their organizations. Lately, my focus has been to reduce the number of IT downtime and repair calls by automating tasks and providing the appropriate preventative maintenance functions. A huge part of this is working with small business owners to harden their cyber security. Small businesses are the low-hanging fruit for cybercriminals. My speaking topics range from general knowledge all the way to intense, small-group planning workshops to help small business owners understand what they're up against and better plan for it.
The second market I work with is the senior adult market. The digital divide keeps them at arms-length away from using technology in a productive way in their own daily lives. I work through seminars, classes, and workshops to improve their abilities to use technology. A lot of focus is put into using the technologies safely.
I've worked with technology for over 15 years in many various ways. I enjoy the teaching component and love helping people learn what they need to know in order to accomplish their goals, no matter their age. I have worked with some amazing people over my career, including a 92-year-old gentleman that was using a laptop to write his second book! Technology can be an amazing thing when used the right way.
