I have collaborated on over a dozen academic and industry-partnered interface innovation projects over the past ten years, including several with budgets of over a million dollars. I've co-authored more than 50 publications on data visualization, aesthetics, interaction design, interaction theory, and design for large text collections. I'm also the co-author of the book Visual Interface Design for Digital Cultural Heritage: A Guide to Rich-Prospect Browsing.
My research and teaching practice is focused on design strategy, user engagement, user interface design, and feminist HCI. My passion is creating safer, more inclusive and compelling spaces – both digital and analog. I aim to act as a mentor and community builder.
