I didn’t arrive at these ideas by studying conventional systems from the outside. I grew up outside many of them. I never attended school, started working for myself at 18, and have spent more than 25 years building businesses, communities, events, and an unconventional life of my own. That gives me a perspective that is difficult to get from inside the systems we usually take for granted. I bring that perspective into conversations through stories, lived experience, and a willingness to question assumptions most of us were taught not to question in the first place.
