I served as Assistant Professor in Department of Biochemistry; Human Genetics and Molecular Biology, University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan from February 11, 2011 to December 15, 2017 (6 years and 10 months) and currently working as Postdoctoral visiting Scientist in Department of Cell and Systems Biology, University of Toronto, Canada since December 15, 2017 to date. I am working on development of recombinant fusion proteins with unusual combinations with antiviral effects.
• Supervised several M. Phil and PhD research students along MS and B.Sc. (Hons) and accomplished several research projects.
• Highest number of international publications in a single year (2013 and 2015) in University of Health Sciences, Lahore.
• Total 47 research publications to date in different national and international journals with cumulative impact factor is 67.768 to date.
• Acting as Reviewer of several International Journals.
• Produced antiviral and anticancerous drug recombinant human interferon alpha 2b whose biological efficacy was also verified by NIBSC, UK in 2010.
• Evaluate several natural and synthetic compounds for Anticancerous and Antiviral potential.
• Selected for Biosafety and Biosecurity Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation Training Sponsored by US Department of State's Biosecurity Engagement Program in 2010.
