I would like to speak about my life. I come from a very small village on the border of India and Nepal where women are treated as slaves. Running away to Nepal where I learned to sew at the age of 9 or 10 and working as a child laborer. When I was 16 I started Local Women’s Handicrafts, an all women’s sewing collective in Kathmandu Nepal focused on skill training for women seeking independence and self reliance. I would like to speak about forced marriage as I am the only woman from my village who has ever escaped from this. In my life time I've seen women murdered for something as small as wearing makeup I have also witnessed gross human rights violations I would like to talk about that still happen today. In2015 I visited the USA and founded L.O.C.W.O.M. a non-profit organization. I live a life of service to humanity and have committed to start speaking about my experiences and projects in a public forum.
