On Sept. 22nd, 2017 I went into a diabetic coma while travelling with my wife from Sulphur, la. to a wedding in Dallas, Tx. The unique part of this trip was that I didnt know I was diabetic due to my own ignorance and hard-headedness. On that day the faith of my amazing wife and the entire community back home would be tested as they trusted that God would be with me to help me thru this trying time and render me back to health. I say this is unique because when my wife got me to the hospital and they were finally able to register my sugar level it was at 1685. The doctors told my wife that I would probably die because they have never seen a patient with that high a sugar level. Glad to say that after 5 days in a coma, thirteen days in the hospital, one month on kidney dialysis and acid on my brain God brought me back to health. When I say God showed up, He also showed off. I am not on dialysis any longer and no longer taking insulin and haven;t for over a 1 1/2 years. AMEN
