Nick Warren is the Founder & CEO of MetaSensor, a venture-backed R&D organization located in Silicon Valley that is advancing a new generation of IoT devices to significantly improve individuals’ and organizations’ ability to monitor, protect, and track their important assets. Previously, as Director of Program Technologies for the Carnegie Foundation at Stanford, Nick led the development and implementation of the Foundation’s digital systems and platforms, ultimately improving educational outcomes for thousands of students across the country.
Additionally, as Principal at Delta/bin, he developed Centrality.io, a network intelligence platform to help individuals and organizations optimize their personal networks. Nick has worked with leaders in the defense, intelligence, and tech communities and has been featured in Popular Science, TechCrunch, The Verge, Mashable, The Next Web, and The Week.
Nick specializes in the full software and hardware stack, technical leadership, and systems thinking. He has a background in physics, computer science, and embedded systems, and has created and bootstrapped several software startups. In his spare time, he enjoys advising select startups focused on high leverage problems, logging hours as pilot-in-command, exploring new cultures, and capturing the world with his trusty Canon camera.
