Nicolette Freeman is a transformational leader who builds high performance teams within the Department of Defense and the corporate sector. She empowers, equips and trains teams to innovate, create and deploy cutting edge solutions to complex problems within Healthcare, Education, the Economy, the Environment, Cybersecurity and National Security. Nicolette builds unity and consensus in a safe and creative environment leaving her teams with a renewed sense of purpose and self-worth.
Nicolette is driven by her desire to serve our global community through her time and talents. Her career began as an officer in the United States Air Force where she held various commands positions including within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Nicolette also served as Director of Logistics for the Air Force Space Command and Executive Officer for several senior officials. After several tours to Iraq, Kuwait and other foreign nations Nicolette remained focused on advancing national security interests in a myriad of roles that spanned every continent.
Since 2015, Nicolette transitioned to the corporate sector and entered into healthcare services for Johnson & Johnson. She focused on Pharmaceuticals and Contract Governance and became heavily involved in the Veteran’s Leadership Council. In 2017, Nicolette became the Global Director of Business Process Improvement for Codman Surgical Solutions, an acquisition of Integra Life Sciences. In this role, Nicolette led global cross-functional teams in developing, commercializing and manufacturing neurological medical devices.
Currently, Nicolette serves JP Morgan Chase as the Executive Director/ Group Manager for Performance Consulting’s Process Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE). She is responsible for leading a global team of internal consultants designed primarily to deploy Lean principles and practices that will significantly strengthen and standardize management processes within the Consumer and Community Bank.
Throughout her career, Nicolette has emphasized the importance of servant-leadership, emotional competence and continuous process improvement practices to audiences across North America and Europe. Nicolette is an avid skydiver and rock climber. She is an advocate for work-life integration and giving back her time and talents to our community including developing our youth through Odyssey of the Mind training and tournaments. She remains an active member of the Military Officer’s Association and serves on the Advisory Board for America's Future Series.
