After 29 great years with JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle), a commercial real estate firm, I started Torque Consulting, a corporate training and consulting practice focusing on developing and maintaining customer relationships with an emphasis on business development.
My cornerstone offering is a very unique customer relationship management workshop called Building Winning Relationships. I have successfully consolidated the materials from the popular 10-week college class I developed and teach to undergraduates at Wheaton College (IL) and MBA candidates at Loyola University Chicago, into a highly interactive workshop. The goal of this workshop is to teach strategies and techniques to attain, maintain, and enhance long-term, mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships in our professional and personal lives.
I'm also a keynote speaker and offer shorter seminars and workshops related to developing deep relationships, exploring the keys to communicating a winning image, and how to lead with purpose. My workshops and seminars are applicable to any industry and professionals at all levels.
In my spare time, I'm a baseball and softball college hitting coach. I enjoy working with hitters who want to learn how to hit with more power and consistency. I write a popular hitting blog and published a book on hitting for baseball and softball players.
