Preston Davis, is the Founder and CEO of Eleven Twenty-Three Marketing and Branding. Prior to starting his own agency, Davis’ extensive experience spanned across some of the most recognizable beverage and liquor brands in the world including vitaminwater/smartwater, D’USSE Cognac and CORE Hydration.
Working his way up from Marketing Team Lead at Coca-Cola vitainwater after just two short years to District Manager, Preston took the entrepreneurial leap and launched his company. Eleven Twenty- Three was launched in 2013 where the client list included NBC Sports, Nike, Belvedere Vodka, Dr. Pepper, Universal Music Group and more.
After quite a successful year in business for himself, Davis was recruited and joined the Marketing team for D'USSE Cognac where Jay-Z leads the global strategy for the brand. During his time there he managed partnerships with Cohiba Cigars, Roc Nation, Rihanna’s Met Gala after-party and countless tours and special events including Jay-Z’s own Tidal music streaming service launch event.
Davis then joined a startup premium bottled water company, CORE Hydration in 2016 as a Marketing Manager. In two short years, he helped to drive the brand's awareness exponentially along with strategic partnerships within Core's biggest and most influential markets. These efforts led to Core's 2018, purchase by Dr. Pepper for $525 million.
In 2018, with a desire to round out his experience by adding media, Davis joined Complex Networks which expanded into the agency business and Davis spearheaded the project management of their in house client, Pepsi. Preston oversaw Pepsi's partnerships with Marvel’s Black Panther, Venom, 1800 Tequila, TikTok and many more. He also managed the activations at Complex’s biggest annual event, ComplexCon.
Preston Davis is originally from Washington, DC and moved to New York in 2006. He currently still resides in Manhattan with his wife and 2 children.
