The reality is biases are part of the human brain make-up. They help us make sense of the world around us, make decisions, and even protect us from danger. Some biases are based on fear of the unknown, some based on experience and others learned through cultural messaging. Some biases are so deep-rooted that we may not even be aware that we have them. This session will uncover the truth about biases, both conscious and unconscious by examining day-to-day workplace situations.
