I am keen to speak about the inherent bias’ and discrepancies that exist in our healthcare systems and what we need to do as a collective to achieve healthcare parity especially for women of colour.

The fund will invest at growth seed in technology driven companies innovating in women’s health, wellness and femtech. Hard wired into the fund’s investment thesis, GGV’s investments will be aligned with (1) creating a sustainable, healthy planet and society (2) achieving healthcare parity, and (3) investing in under-represented founders.
I am an avid angel investor having invested into more than 15 early-stage women’s health start-ups and several fintech companies.

Founding Partner and Director
I am the founding partner of OCP, a regulated company I conceptualized in 2010 and built from the ground up using my own funds. I have built, managed, and run the firm for over 10 years, providing fund raising expertise, strategic advice and multi-channel scale-up positioning across different asset classes and distinct investment strategies. From inception, I have multiplied the firm’s bandwidth giving the firm the ability to access the entire investor spectrum and have raised funds and led the strategic expansion into GCC markets for several blue-chip clients.
Responsibilities:
• Act as lead introducing agent for private equity, venture capital and hedge fund opportunities with a focus on MENA and Indian Investors (sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, pension funds, family offices, royal family offices, insurance funds, Islamic investors, UHNW and HNW individuals)
• Develop and cultivate new client and investor relationships and actively manage these relationships
• Constructively challenge and develop clients’ goals, presentations, KPIs and business plans
• Offer strategic and tailored business advise to ensure client products are MENA specific before
disseminating information and going to market to raise capital;
• Project managing deal flow and 360 overview of OCP’s business development
• Independent sounding board for clients offering practical guidance, negotiation and conflict resolution
services
• Acting as a bridge between different cultures to facilitate business growth and general investment “fire-
fighting”
• Actively involved in the MENA venture capital eco-system, investing personal funds into MENA start-ups
