Rashane Pintoe is an undergraduate at Victoria University and Girne American University, reading for Bachelor’s degrees in Financial Risk Management and International Relations. He is the Vice Secretary in the Sri Lankan chapter of the Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) and the Co-founder of the university chapter of the same organisation at the National School of Business Management (NSBM).
Being involved in a plethora of leadership positions and extra-curricular activities both in and out of his academic facilitations, Rashane has a well-developed ability to work independently and as part of a team. Rashane is an experienced chess player having constantly played at national chess tournaments. He is also a political enthusiast, concerning himself with the ever-changing political dimensions of the planet and the various attributes of the same. This makes him hold various delegations for Model United Nations' conferences and international affairs.
Rashane is also the United Nations Student Ambassador Coordinator for the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, where he leads a team of 17 Ambassadors to make an impact in society on various projects and implementations.
When he is not involved in academics and sports, Rashane writes articles to multiple local newspapers on topics relating to terrorism, peace and the status quo of the political attributes in both Sri Lankan and foreign aspects. Having worked in corporate environments including WSO2, Rashane possesses the ability to easily liaise with teammates and external facilitators to ensure smooth operation of what he aspires to do.
