Ravi Jain is the Founder of Jain Immigration Law.
He was presented with the Diamond Jubilee Medal by command of Her Majesty the Queen in recognition of his significant contributions to Canada.
He has been recognized by his peers with listings in Chambers and Partners, The Canadian Lexpert Directory, Who’s Who Legal (as a “Thought Leader”) and Best Lawyers in Canada (as “2022 Lawyer of the Year”).
Ravi has over 22 years of practice experience and is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Immigration Law.
He has been invited to address committees in both the Canadian Senate and Canada’s House of Commons as a subject matter expert in immigration law on several occasions.
Ravi was instrumental in founding the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association (www.cila.co) and is currently co-President. He is also the Past National Chair of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Immigration Law Section having served in leadership roles from 2017-2021.
He recently served as a Board Member of the South Asian Bar Association (SABA) and has been a Co-Chair of the Immigration Section of South Asian Bar Association of North America (SABA NA) since 2021.
Ravi is called to the bar in both Canada and the United States and practices all aspects of Canadian immigration law as well as assisting with US work permits under the USMCA given he has an Ontario “Foreign Legal Consultant” license approved by the Law Society of Ontario as an Attorney is licensed to practice U.S. immigration law.
He graduated from Queen’s University with a B.A. (Hons.), The Osgoode Hall Law School with a J.D. and The University of Michigan Law School with an LL.M.
