About
Who comes to mind when you read the word: GENIUS? If it's not you now, it will be once you hear me!
Common Genius, Uncommon Destiny
• Focus: This workshop deconstructs the notion of what it means to be a genius from an academic label to a neurodiverse trait based on PASSION*, TALENT and PURPOSE. This type of trauma-informed* genius is on the inside of everyone which means the ability to change the world is within everyone's reach, as well. • Frequency: one keynote workshop with breakout sessions dispersed throughout an academic school day centered around topics covered in Ink Well Spoken catalog of books • Duration: 1-2 hour workshop; 30-45 minute breakout sessions • Tools/Partnerships: • “Genius Is Common” campaign/shirts (a global initiative and partnership with licensor Bruce George *) • Ink Well Spoken self-published book catalog (faith-based version available)
Kings' Speech
• Focus: Empowering young men to believe that one resource they possess which makes them rich is their words. How they spend said resource determines their kingship by being a good king who spends it well by building up others; or being a bad king who spends it poorly by tearing others down. Thus, understanding that their contributions to society matter as they re-shape broken identities with the power of positive words. • Frequency: weekly; throughout the academic school year • Duration: 45 – 60 minutes • Tools/Partnerships: • Individual school themes • “Genius Is Common” campaign/shirts (a global initiative and partnership with licensor Bruce George *) • • Ink Well Spoken self-published book catalog (faith-based version available)
Open Mic Poetry Knights
Open Mic Poetry Knights (OMPK): • Focus: Providing an atmosphere for youth to share their talents and gifts in the performing arts which encourages positivity while stripping away the negative influence permeating today’s culture. • Frequency: one talent show offered bimonthly • Duration: 2 hour talent show • Tools/Partnerships: • “Genius Is Common” campaign/shirts (a global initiative and partnership with licensor Bruce George *) • Ink Well Spoken self-published book catalog (faith-based version available)
