How can a bicycle reach places that are unattainable for the fastest, most sophisticated cars? Planning, ensuring that you have the correct tools and route are more important than the speed that you travel. The skills and methods used on this trip can also be applied to the way we plan cities and the economy making them both more sustainable and efficient. The concept of “Redesign of speed”, to use the bicycle as a concrete tool to promote social empowerment. The project was presented at the UN Conference COP-23, now updated with the results from the NGO in Brazil and the refugees cooperation in Bosnia.
